A mainstay at many airshows, and it still pleases the crowd. Not as dramatic as modern fighter jets. Not as fanciful as a P-51 or a Spitfire. But for the many people who built it, maintained it, or trained in it, the memories are still important.
I can’t imagine what goes though a person’s mind when learning to fly these planes that upon graduation, you could very well flying in a theatre of war.
These photos were taken at the Jet Aircraft Museum in London, Ontario, Canada.
