As a kid I would try to catch these floating seeds.
If I caught oneĀ it I’d make a wish and release it back in the air. If the seed found nice ground and germinated, your wish would come true. I still try to catch them today.
As an adult, I still am fascinated by theseĀ seeds. The different textures and shapes between the seed and seed pod makes for a good macro project.
I tried to capture the ‘personality’ of the seed pod and the explosion of white fluffy seeds. I also had a some fun with some post-processing.
Good thing it wasn’t windy in my studio.
