There was once a great all-weather interceptor called the Avro Arrow: CF-105.
It was killed.
Some say by Canada’s then Prime Minister, John Diefenbaker.
Some say the big wigs of US Aerospace companies.
Some say it was Voodoo………
Maybe it was a combination of ‘all the above’ and more. There is much on the web about the Avro Arrow. However this is about the Voodoo and Aerospace love child that became the CF-101, nicknamed “The VOODOO”
In service from 1961 to 1987, it now can be seen in various parts of Canada, in various parts, or missing parts. As is this one, at the Jet Aircraft Museum in London, ON, Canada.
I chose a somber monochromatic tone for these photos, for a variety of reasons. Only one photo has most of the colour maintained so the squadron colours can be seen on the tail.
Lenses used;
- DA 16-45mm f4.0
- DA 55-300mm f4.0-5.8
