My daughter has turned 7 years of age. She is just fabulous. She is a lively spirited girl who isn’t really afraid of anything and holds her own against her older brothers. They tease her sometimes but all siblings do. They love her and she loves them. My daughter, like millions of other young girls, wants to be Princess Anna for Halloween and her birthday. Whilst the wife was busy sewing Princess Anna’s outfit, I hid myself in my den surrounded by paints and a white ceramic dragon. I have had it in safe keeping for the right time for it to come alive. And this is the right time. What does this have to do with Princess Anna from Frozen you ask? The colours. I chose to paint the bisque with similar colours to Anna’s dress; purple, blue, and turquoise. Add some ice crystal jewels and iridescent blue marbles and presto! A hand painted dragon in colours to match my daughter’s Halloween/birthday costume. The dragon measures about 23 cm high. I had lots of fun painting it. It was even more fun to watch her expression of delight when she saw it on a swatch of cloth from her dress, jewels and marbles at the base of the dragon. Now my two boys want a dragon of their own. The search is on.
